This months question is:
Revelation 1:4 says "Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him which is, and which was, and is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness..." Since we know there is only one Spirit (the Holy Spirit) which dwells in us, who are the seven Spirits spoken of in this verse?

John

My pastor always taught these were seven angels that worship before God's throne.

In Isaiah 11:2 is speaks concerning the coming of Jesus and the seven spirits or attributes He will possess: the Spirit of the Lord, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of God. I have always felt this was a reference to the attributes of Christ - seven spirits or attributres.

I believe it is relative to the seven churches that are mentioned in chapters 2 and 3. These are the witnesses to the then known world that Jesus is both Lord and Christ. It is referring to the one Spirit through seven main channels of Light!
