It is quite easy to keep our minds busy and running rampant with meaningless

nothings, while on the other hand, it is most difficult to satisfy the deep emptiness and

void within our hearts.  There seems to be a major disconnect or a gap between the heart and mind.  Is there a way to bridge this gap?  Resoundingly, YES!

The heart is most often ignored because the heart deals with ‘truth.’  And

because society turns a blind eye to truth, the heart constantly roars out a battle

cry to the human soul and spirit to connect and travel this road of life together rather

than separately.  So, what happens when the heart is ignored and left to fend for itself?

The mind takes over to try and fill that deep cavern of emptiness within the heart.  The

mind continues to search for meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.

In pursuing the heart (truth), remember that intent is prior to content.  We must

have a love of truth and the willingness to submit to its demands.  When we reject the heart (truth) we reject Christ and choose to govern ourselves with lies.  When we govern

ourselves with lies, our mind has taken over and the heart has become desperately

wicked.  When the heart is desperately wicked we are left with a society that slaughters the innocent (Planned Parenthood), sex-trafficking of young children (Epstein/Maxwell)

and those who seek a one-world government.  These are only a few of society’s sin-stricken disorders.

Our heart deals with life in a multi-sensory fashion.  We must bring our heart and

mind into conformity with the truth (God’s Word) which leads to a coherence within.  We

live in a world enslaved by error and addiction and seduced by ideologies and images to believe lies.

What is the battle cry of the heart?  The heart desperately cries to be transformed by the supernatural power of a risen Savior—Jesus Christ.  Listen to the battle cry of your heart and act upon it.
